(Cistrus albidus)
White leaved rockrose grows in the Mediterranean basin and in the north of Africa. Its favorite places are the forests and sunny calcareous soils, where it can be found flourishing in all its exuberance. The plant is a clump of thick stems and hairy leaves. The whitish leaves have a shape from oval to elliptical. The leaves partially embrace the stem and they have a smooth edge. On the reverse, they present three clearly visible nerves. Its flowers, which can be pink to red, have a petiole which is 5 to 20mm long and 4 to 6 cm wide and they have an intense luminosity.
