Banana Essence

(Musa paradisiaca L. »nana«)

Banana is an imposing perennial plant that gives equally majestic fruits and flowers. It can grow up to 15 meters. Its white flowers group on the joints of their large red purple peduncles. The flowers borne on the rhizome (main root), they grow up inside the hollow trunk and then go out straight to the light or they grow leaning down. This plant only propagates itself by stem cutting. Its fruits are sterile and they are born exclusively from female flowers.
