Tree Heath is a plant native to the Canary Islands living in the laurel forests. It is a tall tree or shrub. It has needle-like leaves of 3 to 5 millimeters long, which grow mostly in whorls of four. The edge of the leaves curl inward almost completely enclosing the interior, its new buds are dense and covered with white fuzz. The flower panicles hang delicately forming pyramids.
