(Rana eculenta)
Frogs belong to the amphibians and there are about 4,380 species known all around the world. Unlike other amphibians, its tail is absorbed during metamorphosis into adulthood from the larva state to tadpole. The essence was made with the European Green Toad. It has a small rigid body, a great wide head, green back, and white stomach, have brown-golden bulging eyes with large black pupils, small front legs and strong hind legs, with which it can carry out acrobatic leaps. As it is an amphibian, it depends upon humidity and water. The European green toads live in small ponds where they reproduce themselves. IMPORTANT: At present, almost every amphibian is threatened with extinction.
This is mainly due to the loss of their habitat, humid regions, puddles, as well as to the climate change. If you have the opportunity, you can set ponds (biotopes) and help these animals to keep their habitat. The males call the females to the breeding sites. They make this characteristic croaking sound which is amplified by one or more vocal sacs. Frogs create this sound by passing air through the larynx in the throat. The webbing between the toes of the hind feet increases the area of the foot and helps propel the frog powerfully through the water. When frogs mate, the male climbs on the back of the female and clasps the female under the front legs. The sperm is ejected from the male cloaca directly onto the eggs as the female lays them. The eggs are usually wrapped in jelly, as spawn. The larvae that emerge from the eggs known as tadpoles eat algae or other vegetables.
Frog in Mythology: In many cultures, frogs are thought to bring good fortune or as symbols of fertility. In Egypt, it was venerated as the sacred animal of Heket, goddess of fertility. The green frog symbolized the annual flood of the Nile River which deposited rich silt on the banks, allowing the Egyptians to grow crops. The Greeks related them to Aphrodite, the Romans, to Venus. The Celtic goddess Luxura was represented with a frog on each breast. The frog was for them a symbol of fertility, which was related to the element water and the Undines, or water nymphs. In China and in the Feng-Shui, the frog represents good fortune and wealth. According to the natives of the Amazon rainforest, the frog brings rains. From our childhood, we can remember the fairy tale "The Frog Prince". The frog / the toad in the interpretation of the dreams: It means good luck in life and success in the economic environment. On the contrary, if it is sick or dead, it can be related to illness, death or losses.
Frog Essence: In German it is said: "Sei kein Frosch" (You're not a toad) which means: dare, go get the situation, get involved with it. The frog essence helps us recognize ours deeper feelings, accept them and express them.
On the body level: The frog helps us get free from obstructions that were created as a result of accumulation of feelings. Repressed emotions take us automatically to body blockages and tense muscles. We feel inwardly crowded. Utmost, this can be one of the causes by which we get cancer.
On the emotional level: The essence helps us accept our true deepest feelings. We enter our interior emotional world and thus we happily jump towards our soul which just then can free itself of large burden strengthening our self-esteem and we get the courage to take the next step i.e. we get closer to other people instead of simply ignoring our feelings and turning a blind eye. By interacting with other people, we take part in group dynamics similar to a chorus that will let us achieve extraordinary results.
On the spiritual level: The leap towards our feelings generates a liberating blow. We learn that we can continue developing inwardly by expressing our emotions. We learn the importance of keeping our emotional field "clean". The frog can help us heal old deep emotional wounds, release blockages and be able to show our feelings freely instead of drowning ourselves in them. As animals of cold blood, the frog shows us how to express our feelings without drowning in them.
Note: During the elaboration of the essence something extraordinary happened: In a corner of the pond, there were many frogs together that were there to help me in the elaboration of the essence. At the beginning there was silence, but just as I started with the elaboration, all the frogs began with a rhythmic song, in unison which ceased when the elaboration of the essence had finished. At that time, I could only feel gratitude and respect towards the Creation of God.
