Walnut

(Juglans regia)

Walnut grows on fertile soils. This majestic tree can reach 30 meters. Its intensely scented leaves are large and lanceolate and they have oval stipules. Its flowers bloom between April and May. The female flowers are small, green and in the shape of a fig; the male ones are yellowish green thick catkins. Its seeds are nuts.
