Wild Oat

(Bromus ramosus)

Wild oat grows on damp soil in roadsides, shaded by hedges or along steep slopes. Various flexible delicate stems bloom off a single root. They can reach 150 centimeters tall. They swing gently at the mercy of the wind. Its leaves are thin and fluffy. Its flowering time is between June and August, and at that time, it develops soft spikes hanging without calyx and equipped with rigid beards.
