Holly

(Ilex aquifolium)

Holly grows as an evergreen shrub or tree in Europe. As a tree, it can reach 20 meters high. It has a smooth, gray bark and pointed dark bright leaves that are similar to leather. Its small four-petalled flowers with their intense fragrance bloom in May and June.
