Grounding Opuntia

(Opuntia dejecta)

This cactus grows to form clumps on the Cuba Island and it can reach 2 to 3m of height. It presents the typical small opuntias blades that grow one over the other. Young leaves have an intense green color, while the oldest leaves present a grayish green color. Its light red flowers open at the beginning of March showing their entire splendor. Once the flowers have fallen, the empty leaves of the fruits remain attached to the plant and thus its fruits can be eaten.

Grounding Opuntia activates the 1st Chakra stimulating rooting and stability. It helps us find calm and, and then, to be ourselves.
