Love cactus

(Seticereus icosagonus)

This variety of crawling cactus has yellowish green spikes and it is native of the North of Ecuador and Peru. It can also be found at 2000m high growing in groups, even to the west side of the Andes. At the end of March, the fireworks of its flowers light up: its flowers of intense shades of orange and red appear. In its place of origin it is considered as the ""family cactus, because, as it has already been said, it grows in groups.
