Inner Cleansing Cactus

(Cleistocactus ritteri)

The Cleistocactus are columnar stem cacti that branches at the base, surrounded by large amount of ribs (more or less rounded) and densely covered with delicate spines. The species Cleistocactus ritterii was discovered in the North of Bolivia. It is characterized by its upper part densely covered with fuzz and its yellow tubular flowers. The latter seem to have been expressly created for hummingbirds that with their sharp peak take care of pollination.
