Beauty Cactus

(Echinocereus scheeri)

This beautiful variant of echinocereus scheeri was discovered by Europeans in 1978 on the road that leads from Durango to Mazatlan, in Sinaloa, Mexico State. This kind of cactus grows like grass, often in collusion with rare ferns, agave and cactus Mammilaria guillauminiana. Beauty cactus is just 10 or 15 cm tall, it is light green and it has no thorns. Its large and magnificent pink flowers glow on the ground level.
