Amethyst

The amethyst is a transparent silicon dioxide that can be found in violet, clear violet and reddish violet tones. It forms beautiful druses full of energy. The Greek denomination amethystos means "not drunken". In Ancient Greece, this mineral was carried to avoid spells, nostalgia and bad thoughts, especially in states of drunkenness. Hildegarde of Bingen applied the amethyst to cure freckles, recent tumescence and she used it as dermatological treatment to obtain a finer facial skin.
