Aleuria - Orangebecherling

(Aleuria aurantia)

The dimension (2 to 10 centimeters of width) and the intense orange color of the aleuria make this mushroom unmistakable. This edible mushroom can be found on muddy soil on the roads and on the forest sparsely populated points between May and October. In Europe, there are about 5 species of aleuria and their colors range from orange to scarlet or golden yellow.
