Jelly Tongue - Zitterzahn

(Pseudohydnum gelatinosum)

Jelly Tongue is an edible mushroom that can be found between July and November, mainly in spaces with leafy trees and rotten coniferous woods. This mushroom has a similar aspect of a mollusk. It has a short foot and its spectrum of colors go from white to gelatinous brown. At the bottom of the cap it has gelatinous white spines. The top may reach 3 to 8 centimeters.
