Horn of Plenty feels at home in woodlands and coniferous forests, especially on calcareous soils and under beech trees. This mushroom of 5 to 10 centimeters tall is gray and black, it has a shape similar to a trumpet as it is completely hollow inside and its walls have the same thickness at all points. In the upper part, the edge curls towards the outside acquiring the form of a hat. The link between hat and stem is practically imperceptible and presents a funnel shape.
