(Suillus luteus)
Slippery Jack lives in symbiosis with fir trees and it settles mainly in young plantations. It can be found between June and October. It is recognizable for its smooth mottled dark brown cap which often grows inwards. It can reach a diameter of 5 to 10 centimeters, it is moist and viscid. The stem is pale yellow with a membranous ring between white and violet.
Slippery Jack essence helps us to be aware of deeply rooted feelings such as shame or guilt, and it frees us from blockages caused by negative feelings.
Essence Effect on the Body: People who are dominated by deeply rooted feelings such as shame and guilt often feel attracted by this essence. It is not unusual that some pain or body decline associated with feelings of shame or guilt accompany them. Slippery Jack essence brings to light, for example, conflicts between mother and son as it contributes to the final resolution of this type of problem which reaches the body level.
