Japanese Rose

(Rosa roxburghii)

The Japanese rose was cultivated for the first time in 1840. It has many pale pink delicate petals with yellow stems inside. The rose, which is resistant to winter, develops some bitter and large rosehips very rich in vitamin C which are similar to chestnuts or nauclea. With regard to its effect, the Japanese rose is very similar to Dr Bach´s wild rose.
