Corn - Mais

(Zea mays)

Corn is a grass of up to 3 meters high. It has large wide leaves. The male flowers are placed in the highest point of the plant, and the female in the cobs. The corncobs emerge from the point of union of the lower leaves with the stem and are covered with long protective threads in light tones. When it comes to maturity, these threads are dyed in brown and then they expose the mature yellow cobs. Its name comes to mean something like "universal mother".

This essence promotes the union with other living things and it helps us be in harmony with the rhythm of nature. It is extremely useful for "city people" who seek contact with the Earth.
