They are also called the unicorns of the sea. Animal in a solid elongated shape, like a knobbed transparent tube in various sizes, from a few centimetres to several metres (20 metres) long. This specimen was 8cm long with a diameter of 1.5 cm. The essence gives us resilience and stamina. Especially in difficult times, it helps us to remain steadfast, not to allow ourselves to be restricted and to withstand external pressure. On an energetic level, it helps us to strengthen ourselves internally and gives us energetic protection and strength.
The name of the genus is derived from the Greek words pyros (fire) and soma (body) and refers to the bright bioluminescence it sometimes radiates.
